Born and raised on the Eastside of Detroit, DJ Diztracted learned from his parents the many styles and genres of music that spanned from Motown to Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, RnB, Dance, Salsa, Arabic, Jazz, Gospel, and Classical. Beginning in his teens in high school to college at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, he spent many years rocking house parties, major local night clubs, open mics, showcases, record label events, block parties, weddings and even produced a music television show locally broadcasted on Comcast.
Diztracted has been blessed to work with many artists, companies, universities, churches, non-profit organizations, radio, television and festivals during his career. Some highlights of past collaborations include The Detroit Pistons, University of Michigan, Representative Rashida Tlaib, Metro Times Blowout, Sony Music, Universal Music Group, the Movement Electronic Music Festival, Dwele, Ro Spit, and Nick Speed.
Diztracted is a trained music engineer, producer, and pioneer in the video DJ (VJ) world with his work being featured nationally and internationally on European and African Music television networks. He is a very diverse DJ that has knack for rocking any crowd at any time of the day. Music is irresistible and DJ Diztracted seizes every opportunity to take control.
